Summer is the perfect time for detoxing. With longer days and warmer
temperatures, it’s easier to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
Plus, the summer months provide a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables that are
naturally detoxifying and delicious.
Some of the benefits of detoxing in the summer include:

Each season we focus on detoxing and revitalizing different organs with the
seasonal bounty Mother Nature provides. Seasonal detoxes are an essential part
of my practice plus a vital part of my life.
The summer is about slowing down and taking a vacation from life. In Chinese
medicine, we celebrate cleansing the heart and the small intestine during this
season.
The heart is the queen of your body. A healthy heart is a healthy body. When
the heart is not pumping blood properly, circulation is poor, and constipation
